Kodiak Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings

Multiple meetings are offered daily.

Click for meeting types/times.  We encourage participation in our convenient on-premises AA meetings.  Our facility offers a separate community area for these meetings.  The AA room is located on the lower-level backside of the building.  The door is well marked on the right side of the building.

Homeless Prevention Services

Office hours: M-F 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with some flexibility.

We do our best to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless.  It is very traumatic to live in uninhabitable situations or to lose your living situation.  We do our best to mediate between landlord and tenant, offer financial assistance to qualifying individuals in the form of past due rent, return electricity to disconnected housing units, or perhaps the unit is under threat of disconnection.  We may also provide heating fuel for those in need.

Prevention appointments are by appointment only and can be made in person or by calling 907-486-5610.  Click here for the list of necessary documents for consideration.

Permanent Placement Housing Services

The drop-down menu above contains contact information for current landlords. We have some applications in our offices and are willing to deliver thoroughly completed applications to the proper locations. Brother Francis does not know the current availability of rentals. Maintaining open communication with landlords in your housing search is YOUR responsibility.

We understand that entering a new lease agreement can be difficult, stressful, and expensive. Brother Francis is here to help. If you need financial assistance in obtaining your goal of independent living, please schedule a meeting with our Resource Specialist at (907) 486-5610.
